Parents or caregivers may struggle to help children with their Maths homework as it was taught very differently to them when they were at school. Many adults also fear Mathematics and may thus unwittingly pass their fear of Mathematics on to their children. In this course you will learn about how young children learn best, as well as what Mathematics is all about in Grades 1–3. This course is designed as a general course for adults who wish to learn more about how to support their children to develop the necessary mathematical concepts in Grades 1–3 so that they will enjoy Mathematics and not fear it.
