I am currently a Digital Marketing intern at McCann1886 thanks to The Knowledge Trust. The company is amazing and I am learning a lot in the relatively new field of digital marketing. I plan to use the skills and experience I am working to obtain to my advantage in the future. I am extremely grateful to both The Knowledge Trust and McCann1886 for the opportunity.

I am super excited about landing this scholarship because I have been a member of The Knowledge Trust since 2020 looking for an opportunity and finally I got a scholarship to study at TSIBA thanks to The Knowledge trust for creating awareness about this Opportunity at TSIBA.

I would firstly like to thank The Knowledge Trust for this great platform that awarded me an opportunity to work with RAiN Chartered Accountants on one of their audit projects. It Is an amazing and interesting experience, the program is really valuable as I am learning new things and it is also helping to modify and polish up some of my audit and interpersonal skills

At the start of 2021, I started looking into my own professional growth. At the time, my profession left me with a negative experience and I thought that the working world was negative with no opportunity for growth. I then came across The Knowledge Trust with an opportunity to learn about Digital Marketing. Having been involved in marketing through my uni days and doing social media as a hobby, I was definitely interested, but the Knowledge Trust’s tone of voice and approach to helping young individuals find opportunities to grow inspired me. The interview process was different, but I pushed through and made it into the program. In the past 10 months, I have learned so much about Digital Marketing with Red and Yellow, working in 2U, which was a positive environment, and learning about myself, which I am grateful for. I’d recommend all to follow the Knowledge Trust and learn about the opportunities they have to offer.

Knowledge trust helped me in my job searching. Even though it was a short contract, I learned a lot from the job and the people I was working with. I am still sharing accounting profession advice and opportunities with the people I met whilst in the project. Knowledge trust also followed up on my experience in the project which showed me that they are not just a recruiting agency but a caring organization.

I was so happy about the opportunity. The training we received prepared us to accomplish my tasks effectively. The rain opportunity gave me exposure to the Auditing field. The pressure showed me that I can handle pressure very well. I also got contacts and references that I can use in the future to further my career.

I don’t know where to begin. This has been the best opportunity granted to me after Varsity. This opportunity has brought so much happiness into my life and that of my family as I was sinking into depression due to unemployment. When the opportunity came, it changed a lot for me and my family. It has been a great experience and still is, working for a wonderful company like Distell. I won’t lie, I have been happy ever since I started working there. I also make things easy for myself by doing what is required. It’s unfortunate that the contract is ending in April but it has been great and I’m still loving it.

My name is Thabisa Anita Gowa and I applied for a Learnership at ITC Contact Centre through The Knowledge Trust. I was so relieved and quite excited to be accepted that I told myself I would make the most of it and claim my place to be acknowledged. I went for training and after a few weeks, I got the hang of things and adapted to their environment. Although along the line things became hectic, I picked myself up, gave my best, and worked hard to secure my place at ITC. I became one of the top agents and also received awards for my achievements. So all I want to say is this opportunity I was given has been nothing more than good to me and also eye-opening. I am grateful to The Knowledge Trust for such opportunities because if it was not for them I would have still been sitting at home doing nothing.

Around 4 months ago I was close to completing a digital marketing course and close to achieving a qualification in digital marketing. Through the Knowledge Trust, I had applied for a Digital marketing role at portal publishing and it lead to me getting the job before I even had officially received my qualifications. I have enjoyed my new position, the people are amazing and I have learned a lot. I would just like to thank the knowledge trust for making all these job vacancies available and I would like to thank portal publishing for giving me the opportunity.

The opportunity that I got was truly amazing, I learned a lot during my time at Thembisile Hani Municipality in Mpumalanga, where I was working as a Junior Auditor (IEC Project) under Rain Chartered Accountants. The experience was exceptional. I got an opportunity to be a team leader and I completed my work successfully. I’m very thankful.

What the learnership meant to me: The learnership meant that I would officially be qualified as a digital marketing professional although I already have many years of experience in marketing. Throughout the past 10 months I have learnt valuable skills and lessons that have helped me to grow as a confident individual within the industry. I would like to thank 2U, Red & Yellow and The Knowledge Trust for gifting me this opportunity as well as providing me with the necessary support to make the learnership a success.

I was an auditor for Rain chartered accountants to audit the Independent election municipal results in November 2021 through knowledge trust. The exposure and experience I gained is IT auditing and this will definitely assist me in the future because the business world is now integrated with information technology and this is relevant for future business leaders and chartered accountants. I would like to thank both knowledge trust and Rain Chartered accountants for giving me the opportunity.

I would like to thank Rain Chartered Accountants for giving me the opportunity. The experience I have gained in that one week working with IEC employees at Makhuduthamaga electoral offices was wonderful, and I will forever treasure these memories. The work environment was of good atmosphere, Yet we have a big role to play as Auditors. I have enjoyed and grown personally at the space I was in when I walk into the opportunity. Definitely, I will do this over and over if given the opportunity to work for Rain Company in this role or even more. From the interview to training, all were professional and we learn more of our duties before we go to the offices to start with our job. I wish all the best to this Company in their future engagements.

I recently got placed at Rain as an observer in a national project. The exposure I gained from this placement is invaluable. The sector is not the normal environment for people from previously disadvantaged communities and therefore spending more than a month working on this project afforded me ample time to acquire information to exploit to my benefit in the future if I so choose. I would like to extend a word of gratitude to Rain and The Knowledge Trust for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I recently got an opportunity to work with Nahana as an intern. I signed my contract last week and I am ready to get the ball rolling! I would like to thank Nahana for this great opportunity and The Knowledge Trust for advertising the post and making it easy for us to apply for available job posts and opportunities. This opportunity came after a lot of rejections, so to those waiting for an opportunity like this, hang in there, don’t give up because your time will definitely come. I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Knowledge Trust and Rain Chartered Accountants for the opportunity to be an observer for the FRAP, which is rare these days due to COVID-19. I am thankful for the exposure to the fishing industry, it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The exposure will add more weight to my portfolio and I also met and worked with awesome people!

After countless “we regret to inform you that…” emails, I am so excited that I’ve finally been accepted to be part of the MultiChoice Digital Group Graduate Programme. The Knowledge Trust made this whole process a smooth one. I’m so happy that they’ve restored my faith and have turned my “not so good year” into a “happy ever after”. I would say I had a great time and an awesome experience with Rain Audit Projects. I eventually landed on the Digital Marketing and Communications course that Inscape offered but the difficulties did not end there. My dad is the soul provider for our family and with an ill mother who needs special care, expenses were large and money was tight. The Knowledge Trust offered the solution for me to achieve my next academic milestone. The stressful waiting and constant refreshing of my emails was worth the wait when I got accepted for financial aid.
